
The aquarium in Newport, OR may not be large, but it was cool! All the tanks had beautiful blown glass made by local artists. Aidan was really loving all the hands on exhibits. At first she wasn't going near the sharks and sting rays, but after she touched the
anemones and sea stars (which she wouldn't do last year) we took her back to try the
sand sharks and sting rays and boy was she so proud of herself for touching them!

There were a few large outside exhibits: the
sea lions & harbor seals which you could see from the top of the pool or go into these caves to watch them swim at eye level, the puffins and (some other local sea bird I can't remember), Pacific Octopus, Aviary, & the Sea Otters.
